In the forest, you meet a man who has her arms wrapped around a tree, that his hands are growing again, and lets them wait in a house until someone asks to be admitted three times in God’s name. Her husband comes with a servant who wants to see the light and rest. The king asks three times in the name of God. She opens it,he recognizes her and they return together to the castle.
He wins and marries her, whereupon his father dies. She gets a son while her husband is at war. The devil reverses her letters so that she is banished by the old, deluded Queen Mother with the child.
The father, intimidated by the devil, beates her off, but she cires on the strumbs, and the devil has to give up. Her father offeres to take care of her, but ste wanders off and comes to the king’s son, instead of banishing her for it, lets her guard the chickens.
