Eric got into custody for the robbery of old objects out of a museum. A few days later the police caught the real thief who was recorded by a security camera of the museum. For the surprise of Eric the real thief wasn’t his uncle. His uncle got the vase from a flea market. Eric’s biggest hope was that he get out of the prison but the things got worse. Eric destroyed important historical things out of a museum with a value of $100.000. He couldn’t pay everything so he got into prison.

The thief of the vase and Eric got into the same cell in prison.

One police officer was very intrusive and sad that they have to examine his flat because he is one of the suspects. Eric was shocked. Both examined the whole house and after about 30 minutes they found the broken vase in a drawer. He hoped that it was a misunderstanding, but the vase on a picture of the police officer and his vase are exactly the same. His hearth did beat very fast. He tried to deny everything but there were fingerprints of him on the vase. The whole circumstance was very clear, so he got arrested by the police.

Another day later he woke up because somebody knocked on the door. He opened the door in his pyjama. It was the police. They were very upset and told him that somebody stole a vase out of the museum in the old lighthouse on the hill. A cold shiver ran down his back.

His uncle told him that the vase is worth a lot and he should protect it. Eric wasn’t very happy with an old dusty vase but he didn’t really complain about it and accepted the vase. In front of his uncle he placed it on the top of a small table in the living room. The next day Eric was a bit drunken of the party with his friends in the night. He accidentally knocked the vase down in his drunkenness. It broke into two parts. Eric wasn’t really sad and he didn’t care about it. It was a boring day with his hangover, so the whole day constituted out of chilling on the sofa and watching TV.

A few minutes too late his aunt and uncle arrived at the door. The traffic was very slow, so they were delayed. His uncle carried a very huge gift, which was just as heavy as it looked. So they sat down and ate some cake. After about 20 minutes Eric opened the gift and his eyes saw a very old and ancient vase.

It was a sunny morning when Eric woke up in his bed. It was his 21st birthday. The clock said it was about 12 o’ clock. His aunt and uncle came to celebrate his birthday at about 1 o’ clock, so he had to hurry. He placed some plates on the table and a few decorations. They weren’t much, but it looked enough like a party.
